When I first heard about the project, the first thing that came to my mind was a piece of broken glass. The next time I met with the class we discussed the idea of me putting protest and pictures of the black lives matter movement to show how we are trying to fix and repair this problem. I chose to use tape to connect the pieces because although it is being repaired we can still see that it was broken at one point.
